ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kate! The face behind Coconut Consulting.

I grew up in sunny South Florida with coconut palm trees in my backyard (hence the “Coconut Co” name). I was first exposed to the world of tech at a young age, when my father founded his first startup. I swore I would forge my own path in architecture or advertising, but I couldn’t stay away from the chaos of startups!

After college, I joined Amplitude, a Series A startup, as the 1st member of the Support Team. Throughout my 7 years there, I refined my skills in standing up Technical Support, Product Management, Customer Success, and Implementation Teams. I helped bring the business through an IPO at a $7 billion valuation before venturing out to start Coconut Co. Today, I partner with promising founders of early-stage startups to help them achieve product-market fit and build the right things to accelerate revenue growth. I have advised over 300 startups on data-driven product best practices, shipped hundreds of features, and led even more user research calls.

I hold a B.S. in Business Analytics and Marketing from Boston College. I reside in a small Montana ski town with my husband and hyper rescue pup where I hike, ski, interior design my home, and volunteer teaching young girls how to code.
